4th Cross Stitch Update

My Current Cross Stitch Project
The design came from Donna-Koolers 555 Cross Stitch Sampler. I've chosen the flower design and have been posting my progress as I go. I started this in late March 2009.

4th Cross Stitch Update

Here is my 4th update. I finished the 1st butterfly since my last picture update. I had more done of the top rectangle but had to pull out about 20 squares when the pattern didn't seem to make sense anymore. I had the top purple flowers (inside the rectangle at the top) over about 5 squares too far to the right. That will make a difference!!!

I have my little craft area set up on the edge of my couch. You see my pattern and thread bag that I use to keep it all straight. This project is the first time I used this thread bag system. A Cross Stitching friend told me to get one. It has really helped to keep the threads from getting knotted into a big ball.

BTW, I didn't iron it so it's pulling because of the hoop mark areas that I was working on. It will be straight in the end.

After looking at it all last night while I watched a movie I got out of bed at 11:30 and found out why the "pattern wasn't working. I pulled out the 20 offensive squares and then went to bed and slept soundly. AHHhhhhh.
